PROBLEM:
Binisaya has been a prominent film festival event in the local Philippine Film Making industry outside of Manila but lacks a consistent visual identity that could visually represent who the brand is and what the brand stand for.

SOLUTION:
This year the organization contacted the designer and visual artist Jon Ahmed Durano to come up with an identity and an illustration that can encapsulate the essence of what the brand is and what it stands for withholding the idea of subtle-satire-political considering the current state of the Philippine society and the community in general.

Brand Identity -
The idea here was to create a symbolic enough image that should be flexible enough to be applied in various platforms.
Thus, borrowing the symbol of the waves representing a wave of new Cebuano film makers each and every year,
the symbol acted out as a brand device which is widely presented across all brand touchpoints, from the traditional media to the digital, thus maintaining a sense of brand consistency and cohesiveness.
